Ayudha Puja Celebration 2023

Ayudha Pooja was celebrated on 21ST October 2023. Ayudha Pooja is a part of the Navratri festival, which means “ Worship of Instruments”. This celebration enlightens the importance as well as proper use of tools and equipment we use in our workshop daily. The students not only learn to operate these tools but also take every precaution to ensure safety. Hence every student was involved in cleaning the premises and decorating their respective workshops.

On this special day, all the workshops Computer, MRAC, Automobile, Electrical, Hardware as well as office were beautified with flowers and Diyas. Before the formal programme began Rev. Fr. Andrew Leo Dsouza, St. Lawrence Church Bondel Blessed our Institute and wished all our students well. And also in his speech, he said: “Importance of education in life is to be employed and have social concern”.


The formal program commenced with a prayer conducted by Pavithra & Team. Sonali, NTT Student extended cordial welcome to the dignitaries. The other dignitaries on the programme were Mr. P.A Dsouza, Principal, Mrs. Flavia Dsoza, Director, Mrs. Sujitha Shankarlingam, Vice Principal.
Chethana, NTT Student delivered a speech on the history and importance of Ayudha Pooja celebration.


The Cultural Program started with a devotional song, a Beautiful Dandiya Dance, and Navadurge skit Navadurga are the nine manifestations of the goddess. All these forms are worshipped during the festival of Navratri which are: Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kaalratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidhatri.
Later sweets were distributed.
